Vicat Thermal Deformation Tester is designed to evaluate the heat resistance of plastics. In testing, the test chamber’s temperature increases at a constant rate while a specified bending load is applied to the specimen. When the specimen reaches the standard deflection, the machine records the temperature. It supports tap water cooling, and its specimen fixture is made of alloy steel with a low thermal expansion coefficient to minimize high-temperature deformation and ensure test accuracy. The tester features heating, cooling, stirring, and display functions, and uses a high-precision digital micrometer to measure indenter deformation.
