Sews long coated fabric specimen strips into a circular shape. A coated fabric cylinder is placed between two fixed disks. One disk rotates approximately 90° on its axis to twist the specimen, while the other disk reciprocates along its axis to compress the specimen. After a certain number of twisting and compression cycles or until the specimen exhibits noticeable failure, the specimen's flexural failure resistance is assessed.
