Application Scope
For testing the horizontal burning characteristics of automotive interior materials (single materials or layered composites), including seat cushions, seat backs, seat covers, seat belts, headrests, armrests, folding roofs, decorative panels (door inner panels, side panels, etc.), instrument panels, interior racks, curtains, floors, sun visors, and other interior organic materials (including impact-absorbing fillers and buffers).

Test Mode
Clamp the sample horizontally on a U-shaped bracket;
Ignite the free end of the sample with a specified-height flame in the combustion chamber for 15 seconds;
Determine whether the flame on the sample extinguishes (and when), as well as the burning distance of the sample and the time taken to burn that distance.
